Warzone players find perfect real-life alternative to Rebirth Island

Warzone players have found the perfect alternative to Rebirth Island if the developers were to add another Resurgence map.

Hashima Island and Rebirth Island Warzone map

Warzone’s Rebirth Island offers a smaller and faster-paced alternative to Caldera, and players have now found the perfect real-life location if Raven Software were to ever create another Resurgence-based map.

Rebirth Island, based on Blackout’s Alcatraz, hit Warzone with Black Ops Cold War’s integration in December 2020. Since then, it’s become an integral part of the CoD battle royale experience thanks to its smaller size and Resurgence mechanics.

Players begged for Rebirth Island to stay after Warzone Pacific arrived, and it did, but now players have found the perfect location if Raven Software were to add another Resurgence-based map alongside Rebirth.

Warzone Pacific Rebirth Island map

A Reddit user pointed out that Hashima Island off the coast of Nagasaki, Japan, “would make such a good” map to arrive alongside Rebirth Island as another fast-paced experience.

This real-life island is famously featured in the James Bond movie Skyfall and bears a strong resemblance to Raven Software’s version of Alcatraz Island.

Hashima is densely packed with buildings such as apartment complexes, so it would have a much more urban feel than Rebirth. Plus, because it’s off the coast of Japan, it could match Warzone Pacific’s WW2 aesthetic.

Many players in the comments were excited at the prospect of a new Resurgence map – but not if it replaced Rebirth Island.

User ‘tFearn117’ said that “ I really want them to add more resurgence maps; I love Rebirth, sure, but that’s pretty much all my squad wants, and that tiny map gets old. Surely, since it’s so much smaller than the main BR, they could add at least 2-3 more and rotate them.”

However, there’s a wide-open area overlooked by the cliffs in the center, and players weren’t keen on how many tall rooftops there were. They said that the map would need to be reworked if it made its way to Warzone. Several buildings and landmarks were also added to Alcatraz Island when it became Rebirth, so there’s a strong chance this would happen.

Neither Activision nor Raven Software have teased that another small map would come to Warzone, so this is purely speculation for now. But, if Warzone’s devs wanted to add another map, Hashima would be an excellent choice.

The Kilo 141 remains a very strong AR in Warzone Pacific Season 1, so here are the attachments and Perks to make the best Warzone Kilo loadout.

Kilo loadout Warzone Pacific

If you’re looking to mow down enemies over long distances in Caldera, then the Kilo 141 is still a strong choice. Here are all the attachments and Perks you need to create the best Kilo loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

The Kilo 141 is favored for its incredible accuracy and damage potential at range. The weapon has been a staple of Warzone for a very long time and continues to be a fan-favorite weapon during Warzone Pacific Season 1. This weapon is suited for Caldera’s long-range gunfights.

Pacific Season 1 has a selection of great guns across all categories, and the Kilo’s accuracy is one of the best in the Assault Rifle class. With the right attachments and Perks, you can bring the recoil down to almost nothing when using the best Warzone Kilo loadout.

Here are the attachments and Perks you should use to make the best Warzone Kilo loadout to dominate your enemies in all of your Warzone Pacific Season 1 battles.

Best Warzone Kilo loadout

Best Warzone Kilo loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Singuard Arms 19.8″ Prowler Barrel
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

The Monolithic Suppressor increases the effective damage range of the best Warzone Kilo loadout and keeps you hidden from the mini-map. The benefit of this attachment means you can take out multiple enemies from medium-range before they even know where you are.

The Singuard Arms 19.8″ Prowler barrel further increases the Kilo’s effective distance, allowing it to deal a lot of damage in almost any situation. Combined with the VLK 3.0x Optic, you’ll have no trouble taking out snipers and extremely far-off targets in Caldera.

The Commando Foregrip greatly reduces recoil on the best Warzone Kilo loadout. Pulling down on your thumbstick or mouse to control the recoil will keep the weapon almost completely still.

It’s also worth putting on a 60 Round Magazine. Enemies in Warzone will usually have armor, and when facing a squad, you want to get as many shots in as possible without reloading.

Best perks to use with Warzone Kilo class

best perks warzone kilo class
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stim

When using the Kilo 141, you’ll often find yourself in medium-range fights. Players often use explosives to gain the upper hand, so with E.O.D. you’ll be able to tank a bombardment of explosives.

While rocking the Kilo 141, it’s worth carrying a close-range weapon such as the Welgun for indoor fights. Overkill will allow you to equip two primary weapons, and then you can get Ghost from your next loadout to hide from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

To finish off the Perks for the Kilo 141, you need to have Combat Scout equipped as its ability to live ping the whereabouts of an enemy puts you in the driver’s seat.

The Stim will allow you to head into consecutive gunfights with maximum health, while a Semtex provides versatility to your set of tools when enemy players are grouped up.

Most recent Kilo buffs and nerfs in Warzone

Raven Software has not made any major changes to the best Warzone Kilo loadout recently in the Call of Duty battle royale, but we will update this section with any new changes for this Modern Warfare Assault Rifle if they are ever applied.

How to unlock the Kilo 141

The good news is that it won’t take you long to unlock the Kilo 141 if you haven’t gotten it yet. You only need to be Level 4 in-game, so a couple of games should see you get your hands on it pretty quickly.

Best alternatives

Regarding alternatives, the Automaton is a very similar weapon to the Kilo as they both boast a user-friendly recoil pattern. If you don’t mind some extra weight, the Bren is another excellent long-range option as is the Type 11.

Warzone players believe Airstrikes received a deadly buff

Warzone players are highlighting the Airstrike Killstreak, claiming that some tweaks have been made to make it much stronger.

warzone pacific airstrike

Warzone players have noticed a difference with the Airstrike Killstreak that may have buffed its effectiveness.

As we edge closer to Season 2 of Warzone Pacific, players are still noticing bugs and issues with the current update of Warzone.

Just recently, players found “fake rocks” on Caldera that make taking cover useless, and now players feel that the Precision Airstrike Killstreak has been secretly buffed.

Warzone Precision Airstrike

Reddit user Diegogar11 highlighted a change with the Precision Airstrike’s “warning zone,” asking if anyone else is having the same experience: “Is anyone else just not getting the precision airstrike notifications?”

In the video attached to the post, the player shows an example of the Precision Airstrike killing them but not showing up with the warning.

As you can see, the player stays in the same area for the duration of the clip, getting put down by the Airstrike just as they take out an enemy. One player in the comments claims to have experienced this issue too, stating: “I’ve been seeing that bug for about 3 weeks now they’ve been super super lethal.”

The fact that players are getting killed by Airstrikes without getting a warning about it makes the Killstreak way more deadly than it already was.

Another comment may have a reason for this, claiming that the player had, unfortunately “shifted into the area after it was already called in.” Having said that, another comment also claims that the “warning zone” for the Killstreak has been “tightened,” making it easier to knock down players with.

If this is true, it’s a pretty deadly buff to give the Killstreak and it seems the majority of players aren’t enjoying it very much.

Warzone’s Caldera has fake rocks that make taking cover pointless

Warzone Pacific players are reporting that taking cover behind the rocks on Caldera won’t protect them from enemy gunfire.

Warzone Caldera rocks

Warzone Pacific players are reporting fake rocks on the Caldera map that enemies can easily shoot through, making it completely pointless to take cover behind them.

The addition of Caldera in Warzone Season 1’s Pacific update brought a refreshing change of scenery to the game, but the new map has been criticized for featuring various glitches and other problems.

Now, the Warzone community is frustrated with another major issue, as there are reports of enemies being able to shoot right through the rocks on the map and hit players that were taking cover.

Price, Kingsley and woods in Warzone pacific caldera map

Reddit user ‘dknisle1’ shared a clip in the CoD: Warzone subreddit, showcasing them taking cover behind rocks during a gunfight on Caldera, only for them to discover that they were still taking hits.

Their opponents were shooting them through the rock as if it wasn’t physically there, and this caused the confused Redditor to ask other players why it wasn’t providing any cover during the battle.

One commenter explained that they’ve faced the same problem on Caldera: “I’ve been shot through rocks, concrete walls, rock walls, etc. I like the game, but you can tell it’s half-baked at this point.”

Some users in the thread were amused by what they saw in the clip and began making jokes about it, with one player sarcastically suggesting: “Dude probably had a better gaming chair.”

Another commenter explained that there are collision issues all over the map, and Raven Software are fixing more and more of them as they become aware of them with each update.

Raven Software will be making some map changes to Caldera when Warzone Pacific Season 2 arrives, and we might see them address these collision issues in a major update patch soon.
