Gran Turismo 7 will hit the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on March 4, 2022. Racing fans won’t have to wait much longer for the highly-anticipated new entry.

Like most games that were slated to release in 2021, global events delayed the production of Gran Turismo 7 from a 2021 release window to a 2022 release window.

Gran Turismo 7 trailers

Given the game was expected to release in 2021, there are several trailers that you can find for Gran Turismo 7. The Announcement Trailer clued us in on some new features to expect as well as showcased incredible graphics both during gameplay and through cinematics.

Gran Turismo fans were gifted a substantial State of Play trailer on February 2 that will surely generate some buzz amongst fans of the franchise one month away from launch. The latest trailer is a lengthy video that runs for about 30 minutes.

Players get a chance to witness vehicle tuning, exciting new motors, and a breakdown of all the key details of Gran Turismo 7.

Longtime fans of the franchise will be pleased to note that several tracks will be making their return to the franchise such as Trial Mountain circuit, Willow Springs, and Blue Moon Bay Speedway. Players can expect to receive over 90 tracks at launch which is a new record for the franchise.

Although we don’t currently know the identity of every single car expected to be in Gran Turismo 7, reports confirm that there will be over 420 cars in total. If you’re curious about inclusions, you can check out a list of the confirmed cars in GT7.

New hardware features coming to Gran Turismo 7

Gran Turismo 7 first person perspective

With the PS5 at their disposal, developers Polyphony Digital have ensured that they will utilize the new technology to the best of their abilities.

This brand new game will render in native 4K on PS5, locked in at 60 FPS. It is important to note that Polyphony does not plan to exceed 60 FPS due to the fact that most players do not own televisions capable of such enhanced performance.

The developers have all also stated that they are using the PS5’s DualSense controllers to provide the most immersive Gran Turismo examine yet.  Thanks to the PS5’s 3D audio and the controller’s haptic feedback, players will sense surrounding players on the track.

Adaptive triggers on the DualSense will also factor into the driving experience as inputs will take gradual braking and acceleration into account.

With March 4 fastly approaching, the excruciating wait for Gran Turismo 7 is almost over.

Agent Jonesy and The Foundation in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 3 features a variety of different characters that you can visit around the island, so here’s the location of each recruitable NPC and how to hire them.

You can run into 22 NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1, with each character serving a different function like revealing future Storm Circles in exchange for Gold Bars or selling healing items.

Some of these characters can also be recruited for the right price, and one of the Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 Foundation Quests requires you to hire an NPC and travel 1000 meters with them.

Here’s the location of each hireable NPC in Fortnite along with how to recruit them.

Which Fortnite NPCs can you hire?

Fortnite hireable NPC locations

You can only hire 6 NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1, and the character that you choose will follow you everywhere you go on the Island while fighting off any enemy players that decide to attack you.

Here are all the NPCs you can hire and their locations:

  • Agent Jones – Spawns at a random Seven Outpost each match.
  • Brainiac – In the central building at The Joneses.
  • Galactico – At the football pitch in Tilted Towers.
  • Jonesy the First – At the northern side of The Joneses.
  • Lt. John Llama – Inside a cabin northeast of Covert Cavern.
  • The Visitor – Near the Launchpad east of Sanctuary.

Some of these characters are more reliable picks than others, with Galactico spawning consistently in the loot-filled Tilted Towers while Agent Jones spawns completely at random in each match.

Now that you’ve decided which character you wish to recruit, you’ll need to visit their locations and simply approach the NPC in order to hire them. This won’t be cheap, as hiring them will cost you 95 Gold Bars.

Here’s how to hire NPCs in Fortnite:

  1. Approach the NPC
  2. Interact to begin dialogue
  3. Select ‘Hire NPC’ on the right side of the dialogue wheel
  4. The NPC will now follow and fight for you

That covers everything you need to know about hiring NPCs in Fortnite. Simply recruit one and have them follow you around as you travel 1,000 meters in order to complete Chapter 3, Season 1’s Foundation Quest.

Mad Maggie offers huge counter to Gibraltar in Apex Legends Season 12

Apex Legends players have noticed a way in which Mad Maggie could be a huge new counter to Gibraltar’s Dome Shield.

In a new character trailer, Respawn revealed Mad Maggie’s abilities are perfect for countering the defensive giant Gibraltar.

Apex Legends Season 12 is almost underway, and fans are getting ready for the addition of new content such as the new LTM Control and Legend Mad Maggie.

One of Mad Maggie’s abilities may possess a very strong counter to Gibraltar’s Dome Shield, which is considered one of the best defensive abilities in the game.

Maggie’s Tactical ability, the Riot Drill, is a little device that plants itself on a wall or object and expels fire through and out to the other side.

Legends take damage from this fire, meaning it will be great for getting players out of camping spots and also downing enemies on low health who retreat to cover.

In the recent character trailer for Mad Maggie, however, we saw a very interesting use for this Tactical, as it seems to work on Gibraltar’s Dome Shied. Players have been reacting to this over on Reddit, with some even believing this will now be a great counter to the defensive giant.

One comment under the Reddit post even stated: “About god damn time Gibby had a viable counter. Wonder what the cooldown and range is like…”

If the cooldown, range, and damage on this tactical are reasonable, this could seriously shake up the Gibraltar meta. Most teams run the defensive Legend due to his shield, as it’s such a useful ability in many situations thanks to its versatility.

Players are hoping this counter will add some “variety to the comp meta,” as Gibby is a common pick in Ranked Leagues and even the ALGS. Along with the Caustic nerf in Season 12, defensive Legends may have a hard time following the new update.

Apex Legends Season 12 moves Olympus’ high-tier Loot Bin

Apex Legends Season 12 is bringing changes to Olympus. For those who liked landing on the high-tier Loot Bin, its position has been moved.

The Apex Legends devs are making big changes to Olympus in Season 12, one of which changes the location of the guaranteed high-tier Loot Bin.

As many fans now know, Apex Legends Season 12 is bringing some hefty changes to Olympus. As well as new POIs, the update will also bring minor tweaks and changes to the map.

One of these changes was recently revealed, and for those who loved dropping at the waterfall above Hammond Labs to get the high-tier Loot Bin, you may be disappointed when dropping there in the new update.

There won’t just be a new LTM, Legend, and Anniversary Collection Event arriving in Season 12, as we will also be getting Olympus back in the battle royale’s map rotation.

For a map update as big as this one seems, it will take players time to find and know all the changes the devs have made. Having said that, EA did put up a handy blog giving us a slight head start on what Sabotaged Olympus will look like.

As well as two new POIs, the update is also bringing more minor changes to the map. Players will be seeing new pathways and ziplines to traverse the map, including the removal and addition of Jump Towers.

New Olympus high-tier Loot Bin location

One of the more significant changes coming to Olympus is that the high-tier Loot Bin has been moved.

Originally, players would find this guaranteed high-tier Loot Bin in the middle of the three bins on the waterfall location above Hammond Labs. Now, this bin can be found in the middle of the three at the “North edge of Docks.”

In a recent blog concerning the map changes, the devs claim this was done to “take some of the heat off of the Labs area of the map and spread squads out more off drop.”

So, if you’re looking for some guaranteed great loot off drop, perhaps you should think about landing along the outer ring of Docks. However, be warned, this spot is likely to be heavily contested, so watch out and don’t get punched off the map!
