With plenty of options to pick from, getting started isn’t that simple. Fortunately, this loadout guide will set you on the path to Warzone Pacific success.
Here are the ten attachments, Perks, and equipment you’ll need to make the Type 100 a top-tier Submachine Gun.

Best Type 100 attachments for Warzone Pacific

- Muzzle: Strife Compensator
- Barrel: Shiraishi 374mm
- Optic: Sakura Short Irons
- Stock: Warubachi Skeletal
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 8mm Kurz 48 Round Drums
- Ammo Type: Hollow Point
- Rear Grip: Leather Grip
- Perk: Vital
- Perk 2: Quick
The Type 100 will obliterate enemies from close to medium-range in Warzone Pacific. For starters we want this weapon to boast quick movement speed and ADS speed. The Leather Grip, Sakura Short Irons, and Warubachi Skeletal stock will make the Type 100 a speed demon.
What with maximum movement speed, it’ll be important to increase stability and accuracy. The Strife Compensator, Shiraishi 374mm, and m1941 Hand Stop will ensure that you have enough control over this weapon to earn consistent kills. Some of these attachments reduce movement speed but we’ve already accounted for this.
Next, Hollow Point’s additional limb damage is preferred to the popular Lengthened ammo type. You’ll mostly be using this weapon in close quarters so this isn’t an issue. The 8mm Kurz 48 Round Drums not only increase magazine size but also provide extra damage, bullet velocity, range, and bullet penetration.
With Vital’s added torso damage and the ammo type’s extra limb damage, the Type 100 is going to shred through enemies. Lastly, Quick’s increased sprint speed will be a valuable asset while traversing Caldera.
Best Type 100 Perks and equipment

- Perk 1: E.O.D
- Perk 2: Overkill
- Perk 3: Amped
- Primary (Overkill): Automaton
- Lethal: MK2 Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Stun
This loadout will allow you to recklessly run at your enemies. E.O.D will limit explosive damage which will ensure that you get to your target as quickly as possible. Thanks to Overkill you’ll have the chance to pair the Type 100 with a long-range Primary weapon like the Automaton.
Whether you opt for a Sniper Rifle or Assault Rifle, switching back and forth between the Type 100 must be effortless. Without Amped you run the risk of getting caught in unfavorable situations with the wrong weapon. Amped will also allow you to use your equipment faster therefore the Frag and Stun Grenade pair is the ideal choice.
How to unlock the Type 100 in Vanguard and Warzone Pacific

Since Vanguard’s launch, the Type 100 has played second fiddle to the MP40. Although, most players who test the weapon become big fans of it.
Players must hit Rank 39 in Vanguard to unlock the Type 100. You can use our guide on how to level up fast if you want to speed up the process.
Warzone Pacific alternatives to Type 100
If the Type 100 isn’t your cup of tea for Warzone Pacific, there are a few other SMGs you may want to try. Both the MP40 and PPSH-41 are viable close-range options.
Of course, if you want to equip the Ghost perk from the onset, you may want to stick to a long-range LMG like the MG42 or Type 11 from the start.
As players continue to hit Caldera’s glistening shores, the weapon meta is certainly going to shift. Stay tuned to Charlie INTEL for all of the latest Warzone Pacific Season 1 news.

Best guns in Warzone Pacific Season 1
10. OTs 9

The OTs 9 has long been a powerful choice in Warzone, and even though it’s a Cold War weapon, it’s still got a place in Warzone Pacific.
Warzone players love a low TTK SMG, and the OTs 9 fits that category perfectly. It has minimal recoil and can kill extremely quickly, which makes it a powerful choice whether you’re pairing it with an Assault Rifle or Sniper Rifle.
You’ll likely still see a ton of OTs 9s in Caldera thanks to its accuracy and power.
9. BAR

The BAR isn’t the easiest weapon to use in Warzone Pacific, but there are very few Assault Rifles that can outgun it.
Although its slow fire rate makes tracking moving targets quite tough, each bullet hits like a truck. Once you get used to that slow fire rate, you’ll likely have great success with the BAR, especially when fighting players face-to-face.
It’s not the best at close-range though, so make sure you stick to the outdoors.
8. MP40

Similar to the STG, the MP40 is incredibly effective because it’s so easy to use and will tear through enemies extremely quickly.
Although it’s the first SMG you unlock, the MP40 has almost no recoil and great mobility. If you’re unsure which SMG to level up and use in Caldera, we can’t recommend the MP40 enough. Plus, there are plenty of great versions of it as ground loot, too.
7. STG44

The STG44 is an extremely popular choice because it’s the first Assault Rifle you unlock in Vanguard and is extremely easy to use.
It’s almost the M4A1 of WW2, being a great jack of all trades. It’s neither the most powerful nor the most accurate, but players of all skill levels can take advantage of it. Plus, the Gunsmith system allows the STG to be built for almost any situation, but we recommend using it at medium to long-range.
6. Welgun – Best SMG in Warzone Pacific

The Welgun arrived in Warzone Pacific Season 1’s mid-season update and quickly became the go-to SMG for many players.
Boasting a faster TTK than the MP40 and minimal recoil, the Welgun has been labeled “overpowered” by many content creators and is the obvious choice alongside your favorite Assault Rifle or LMG.
The only problem with the Welgun is that a glitch is stopping players from unlocking it in Warzone, but Raven Software are aware of the issue.
5. Cooper Carbine

The Cooper Carbine was new to both Warzone and Vanguard with the launch of Season 1, and quickly became one of the best weapons in the game.
It was originally best suited for close-range but even after Raven Software nerfed it, it’s still remained top of the pack. Its fast fire rate and extremely low recoil make it incredibly easy to use at range, even if the TTK isn’t the best on this list.
4. Cold War AK-47 – Best Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific

It took some time for Cold War’s AK-47 to join Warzone’s meta but once it did, it secured its place.
With extremely fast TTK, Cold War’s AK-47 is the perfect choice for either a long-range or sniper support build. You may have some trouble getting used to the high recoil, but there are few guns capable of taking it down.
No matter your playstyle, the AK-47 is a great choice across both Caldera and Rebirth Island.
3. Swiss K31

The Swiss K31 wasn’t a particularly strong Sniper Rifle when it was first released, but some powerful buffs to Cold War snipers have made it a very strong option for those who favor picking off enemies from a distance.
This Sniper Rifle has one of the best ADS times in its class, making it a perfect option for quickscopers who like to get into their opponents’ faces.
We’ve ranked it below the Kar98k simply because it has less aim assist, but if you’re a mouse and keyboard player, the Swiss K31 could be the weapon for you.
2. Bren – Best LMG in Warzone Pacific

Although quite slow, the Bren has remained an incredibly powerful weapon even after nerfs. You won’t be able to dart around finessing your opponents, but it has almost zero recoil allowing you to beam any opponent that crosses your path.
The Bren has extremely low recoil for an LMG, which makes it a fantastic choice whether you’ve built your own loadout or are using it as ground loot. We expect it to get nerfed again ahead of Season 2.
1. Kar98k – Best Sniper/Marksman Rifle in Warzone Pacific

If you want a Sniper Rifle that’s both quick and accurate, Modern Warfare’s Kar98k is the strongest choice available. Although being a Marksman Rifle, equipping the Kar with a Sniper Scope will make it the most aggressive sniper build in Warzone.
Being only slightly slower than the Swiss, it’s fast enough that you’ll be able to quickscope enemies up close. Starting a fight with a couple of easy headshots will put your team at a distinct advantage. And with its one-shot headshot and minimal bullet drop, you can effectively snipe at long-range too.
Sniper Rifles still dominate after the Warzone Pacific update, so you’ll want to make sure that someone in your squad is running one – and we fully recommend the Kar98k.
Those are the top 10 weapons you should be using in Warzone Pacific Caldera. Expect this list to keep on changing as weapons are buffed and nerfed.

FaZe Swagg shares Warzone “AIMBOT” STG44 loadout
FaZe Swagg has shared the perfect attachments to make an “aimbot” STG44 AR loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

The STG44 has been a reliable option in Warzone Pacific since Vanguard’s integration and FaZe Swagg has just revealed his aimbot STG44 loadout that will have you shooting beams.
Warzone Pacific’s mid-Season 1 update introduced players to the Welgun but it also brought along buffs and nerfs to several established Vanguard weapons. The STG44 was an early favorite when Warzone Pacific launched but was quickly taken over by the Bren.
Now, it seems like the STG44 is enjoying a second stint in the limelight, and FaZe Swagg has just the loadout to turn the Assault Rifle into a killing machine in Warzone Pacific.

Not only did the STG44 receive a buff but the widely popular Bren received a much-needed nerf which allowed players to explore other long-range options.
It didn’t take long for players to revisit an old favorite but this time FaZe Swagg uses different attachments to make the weapon shoot as straight as possible.
FaZe Swagg paired this aimbot STG44 loadout with an MP40 to cover close-range gunfights and racked up 33 kills on his way to a commanding Duos victory.
Swagg explains the STG’s potential, “They buffed the STG a lot making it have no visual recoil and then you got on some of the attachments that I have it makes it an overall top AR meta”.
FaZe Swagg “AIMBOT” STG44 loadout

- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: VDD 760mm 05B
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: VDD 34S Weighted
- Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk 1: Focus
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
Swagg makes this weapon as steady as can be from long-range with the VDD 760mm 05B, VDD 34S Weighted, and m1941 Hand Stop. Thanks to the recent buff Swagg can afford to swap the F8 Stabilizer for the Recoil Booster which increases the fire rate significantly.
The G16 2.5x optic is standard for Warzone Pacific as are the 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags. Finally, Swagg makes an interesting choice to forgo the popular Vital Perk and instead opt for Focus which reduces the amount of flinch given while shot whilst aiming.
This means when enemy players are trying to take Swagg down, he can still get clean shots off and escape with his life.

How to fix Warzone “friends list not showing” glitch
We have a couple of easy and effective methods to fix Warzone’s glitch that makes it so that your friends list doesn’t show anyone online.

Warzone and Modern Warfare’s long-standing “friends list not showing” glitch that prevents players from showing up on your friends list is still a constant menace after the Pacific update. Here are some solutions to hopefully fix this glitch for you in both Call of Duty games.
It’s undoubtedly frustrating when the only thing you want to do is play a game online, and certain factors are preventing you from doing so. Aside from obvious internet connectivity worries, there is also Warzone’s infamous “Checking for update” bug and Xbox players not even being able to launch the game.
Another issue that continues to haunt players in Warzone Pacific is a glitched friends list that doesn’t allow you to see anyone else online even though they are, and leaves you unable to invite them. As always, we have some ways that might be able to aid you and resolve the problem.
How to make your friends list visible in Warzone and Modern Warfare

You’ll know if the problem is affecting you because when you select Warzone’s social tab and try to inspect your friends, you’ll be hit with “friends list not showing.”
Just to double-check that your friends are indeed online, just quickly open up your general friends list for the console or platform you’re playing on first to check. If they are showing as online, then use our methods to hopefully make them show online on Call of Duty too.
Here are the most efficient ways to get around the glitch.
#1 – Restart Warzone or Modern Warfare

The classic “have you tried turning it off and on again?” Not only is it a way to fix a computer, but it could also cure your temperamental version of Warzone Pacific.
Here’s how you can try this out:
- Simply close Warzone or Modern Warfare
- Restart your respective platform
- Boot up Warzone or Modern Warfare
- Check to see if it now appears
#2 – Link Warzone with Discord

Many players have reported great success by using the official Discord service to link up with their friends and enter games together.
To do link up with Discord:
- All players must have their Discord activity status set to ‘On’
- Make sure you have connected your ‘Battle.net‘ account to Discord
- Have everyone launch Warzone or Modern Warfare
- Then all players should join from the same Discord
Plus, Discord is expected to arrive on PlayStation this year, so it will be even easier to link up with friends cross-platform.
#3 – Create a Group

Another possible workaround is for one person to create a Group, customize it, and invite everyone to join.
This is how to create a Group in Warzone:
- Go to the ‘Social’ tab
- Head to the ‘Groups’ tab
- Press to ‘Create a Group’
- Create a ‘Group Name’ and ‘Group Tag’
- Wait to see if it’s approved
- With a successful Group, invite friends via the Group option
#4 – Turn off Crossplay

We’ve already covered extensively how you can turn off crossplay in Warzone and why you should consider doing it. On top of this, it’s also been doing the trick for some people with Warzone and Modern Warfare game invites.
To do this, simply:
- Make your way into Warzone’s or Modern Warfare’s ‘Options’ setting
- Select your Account
- Switch the ‘Crossplay’ function from enabled to disabled
- Restart the game
- See if it’s worked and whether it has or hasn’t, turn Crossplay back on, and see if the result changes with it
#5 – Simply wait

The easiest and most straightforward idea to try, leave it and hope it fixes itself. Believe it or not, waiting 30-60 seconds could actually fix it and could save you a lot of time than the above fixes.
It won’t work for everyone, but it’s another solution to try and help with this persisting, long-term problem in Warzone and 2019’s Modern Warfare.
