Halo Infinite launched to widespread acclaim in November 2021, but to keep players around, 343 Industries will need to make some changes. Here are five things we want to see from Halo Infinite in 2022.
Of the three, Infinite has been the most well-received, with fans praising the game for feeling like a proper old-school Halo game. While the game has received rave reviews, fans have voiced their frustrations with some aspects of the game.
With Battlefield 2042’s player base dropping by 70% in two weeks and Warzone adding the new Pacific Caldera map, keeping players invested is key to Halo reclaiming its throne as the top FPS. To do so, 343 Industries will have to make some key changes, and we’ve picked out five things we want to see from Halo Infinite in 2022.
5. Better Cosmetics & Battle Pass
One of the biggest complaints about Halo Infinite so far has been about the game’s cosmetics. Getting cool armor to make your Spartan stand out is what lets players show their individuality, but Infinite just doesn’t offer enough.

With free armor almost impossible to get, and the game’s Premium armor coating system labeled a “cash grab” by unhappy players, 343 Industries need to make better cosmetics available. Even those who bought the Season 1 Battle Pass struggled to grab gear, forcing the devs to adjust XP earned in an attempt to help players out.
That doesn’t mean we expect the devs to scrap DLC armor, but at least give everyone a chance to grab some cool gear.
4. Ranked Play Rewards
After overhauling the franchise’s ranking system from Halo 5, Halo Infinite’s Ranked Play mode has been an undeniable success. Players are desperate to move up the ranks and fight their way to Onyx, but 343 could do more to make that grind worthwhile.
A great way to do this would be Ranked Play rewards. Imagine getting an awesome Spartan skin to show that you reached Onyx, or a special weapon camo to flex on your opponents? It would take the mode to another level, and let players show off their skill in style.
3. More game modes
Ranked Play is great, but sometimes you want to jump into some old-school Halo mayhem. Big Team Battles are an incredibly good time, but there are a few more classic modes we want to see return.
Fiesta modes definitely need to make a return, although how 343 will introduce them remains unknown as they have changed the mode’s rules multiple times over the years. Elsewhere, Tactical SWAT modes would be a great change of pace, while a Snipers-only mode is always fun.
2. Classic Halo maps
From Recharge to Streets, Halo Infinite has some brilliant multiplayer maps. Unfortunately, the game only launched with 10 maps total, and we’d love to see some classic offerings added into the mix.
Who wouldn’t love to head back to Blood Gulch one more time, or fly around Ascension like we did in Halo 2. 343 Industries should definitely keep designing new and exciting maps, but mixing in a few fan-favorites from the past certainly wouldn’t go amiss.
1. Battle Royale
There was only ever going to be one thing at the top of our Halo Infinite wishlist: a battle royale. Games like Warzone, Apex Legends, and Fortnite have dominated the market over the past few years, and it’s time Halo followed suit.
Halo is a game that seems almost purpose-built for this mode. Normal multiplayer already sees players picking up weapons to use during matches, while the franchise has so many iconic locations that stitching a map together would be easy.
Whether we’ll ever see a Halo battle royale remains to be seen, but it would be a shame if we never got the opportunity to battle for BR victories in our Spartan armor.

Apex Legends dev teases Season 12 map changes
Apex Legends players are speculating after one of the Respawn Entertainment devs hints at map changes coming for Season 12.
A Respawn Entertainment employee has given players a slight hint towards what to expect in Season 12.
With Season 12 of Apex Legends just a few weeks out, players are excited to find out what’s in store.
As well as Mad Maggie possibly being the next Legend and Crypto finally getting his Heirloom in the Season 12 Collection Event, one of the devs has hinted at further changes coming in Season 12, which has the community speculating.
Respawn Entertainment’s World Director Eduardo Agostini put out a tweet on January 17 hinting at map changes. The tweet mentions Season 12 being “a few weeks away” from release, as well as giving the fans something to ponder when it comes to map changes.
Whenever a new season of Apex Legends is released, players are given new content. Most of the time, this entails map updates to give familiar areas a refresh, keeping the game entertaining.
It seems Season 12 will be doing the same, as the tweet mentions a brand new “skybox.”
As Season 11 saw only two maps in rotation, Storm Point and World’s Edge, players are expecting to see either King’s Canyon and Olympus to return, or perhaps even both.
This hint at a “masterpiece of a new skybox” for one of Apex Legends’ maps has got the community questioning which map will see changes. The fact that the dev has given something away as small as this suggests there is something much bigger in store for players when it comes to map updates.
Further, a new “masterpiece” skybox suggests that something drastic has happened on the map, as it doesn’t sound as if it is a simple lighting change.
Players are speculating that it could be Olympus, which hasn’t seen map changes since Season 9. Olympus was also last seen with ships entering its skybox, and the infestation of an alien plant being brought on the map through the POI Icarus.
Having said that, players in the comments of the Reddit post are uncertain about which map could be getting an update:
“I’ve literally read posts from people on different sources telling me that leaks/datamining all confirm that KC, Olympus, and Storm Point are the map being updated next season lol. I don’t think there’s ever been this level of uncertainty about what the update is.”

Team of the Week 18 predictions
The Bundesliga, Serie A, Premier League, and Ligue 1 were in full swing last week with La Liga’s sole fixture taking a backseat to the aforementioned leagues.

Elsewhere, Bruno Fernandes is a strong shout after scoring two goals in an incredible 2-2 draw against Aston Villa. Both Seko Fofana and Kevin De Bruyne scored mesmerizing game-winning goals for their clubs. Finally, speedy center-back Jeremiah St. Juste scored a rare goal for his club Mainz 05 and FUT players believe his stats fit the current meta perfectly.

Where to find Buttercake Klombos dinosaurs in Fortnite Chapter 3
Fortnite have added the new Klomobo dinosaurs into the game, giving players new ways to move around the map. Here’s where you can find them.
The first Fortnite update of 2022 is here, introducing the Buttercake Klombos dinosaurs to the island. Here’s everywhere you can find them, how to feed them, and how to use them as rotation devices.
Fortnite’s 19.10 update will go down in history as the patch that brought back fan-favorite POI Tilted Towers. The legendary area has been missing from the game since 2019, but finally, players can “drop Tilted” and battle players in the city’s buildings.
Of course, that wasn’t the only thing added in this major patch, with the Buttercake dinosaurs that were teased in the Season 1 promo finally appearing on the island.
You’ll now see the creatures roaming around, but what can you do with them, and where can you find them? Here’s everything you need to know about Buttercake Klombos dinosaurs.
Where to find Klombos dinosaurs in Fortnite Chapter 3
The Klombos are peaceful dinosaurs that can be seen roaming across the map after the January 18 update. Be warned though, they will attack you if provoked, so make sure not to hurt them in the heat of battle.
The good news is that there are at least four Klombos dinosaurs roaming the map at any one time, so you’ll have plenty of chances to see one for yourself.

The bad news is that they don’t appear in the same place every match. According to leakers, their positions alter game to game, but your best chance of spotting one is in the northeast corner of the map. Avoid the sandy area in the south, as this has the least number of spawns.
How to feed Klombos in Fortnite
Feeding Klomos is relatively easy. You’ll need to keep a lookout for the new Klomberry consumable item that can now be found on bushes around Fortnite‘s island.
If you’ve upset a Klombo, you can feed it one of these treats to calm it down, then keep giving them to these beasts to gain a reward in the form of items it will spit onto the ground for you.
How to use Klombos to rotate around the map
Using Klombos to rotate around the map is simple. Simply jump on their tail, and run up the back of this creature. Once you reach its head, the dinosaur’s blowhole will shoot you up into the air.

This can be used to effectively escape from a battle you can’t win, or simply to head towards a different part of the map.
That’s everything we know about Klombos so far, but it’s always possible that these creatures have more hidden talents we don’t know about. Epic may also make changes to them as the season advances, so keep an eye out for new tricks or a different attitude.
